"Tornado Girl", is a 2015 in mainland China drama , made by Hunan TV, in 32 Episodes. It was adapted from the youth novel of the same name by Ming Xiaoxi.

It is difficult to give any summary of the plot, since no western translation of it seems to exist that makes any sense whatsoever. Yet it is seems to be a series about several  - mostly female - teenagers who share their triumphs and sorrows in a sports or martial arts school.

This scene seems to be a flashback into the childhood of the heroine, where she is thoroughly spanked by her father for getting into a fight with a group of other girls.
