This funny short film with 7 minutes in length does not actually contain a full fledged spanking, but a good offscreen whack in the end , and it has a very on - topic story:
Toni knows that she is supposed to stay away from her mom's precious knick-knacks. But when she disobeys and breaks her mother's vase, she knows she's in for the spanking of a lifetime. To avoid punishment, she hides the paddle her mother uses to spank her, but the paddle has other ideas. Will Toni beat the paddle? Or will the paddle beat Toni?

SPENCER'S MOUNTAIN (1963) M/f threat 2

From the 1960ies family drama which today is seen as the inspiration and direct bluprint for "The Waltons".

Clay Spencer is a hard-working man who loves his wife and large family. He is respected by his neighbors and always ready to give them a helping hand. If he has one dream in life it's to build his wife Olivia a beautiful house on a piece of land he inherited on Spencer's mountain.

In the Scene in question the middle sister of the character who later would become John Boy on television, is threatened (by that character) with a spanking.

From Episode 12, season One, which originally aired on 13th of  December 1985.

Being an  updated version of the famous 1960's TV series created by Rod Serling, "Twilight Zone" of the 80ies each week presents one to three tales about some unusual situation that turns out to be even more unusual than initially suspected. Whether the tone of the story is horror, suspense or humor, there is always a surprise twist at the end.

In "Her Pilgrim Soul," two scientists must discover why the spirit of a woman is reliving a previous life within their holographic computer. In one scene the woman, in form of the girl she once was, relives a scene on a lake where her Daddy spanked her posterior "hard".

Punky Brewster is a show about a girl named Penelope "punky" Brewster. She is abandoned with her dog, Brandon in a supermarket by her mother. She doesn't want to stay in an orphanage, and finally befriends Henry Warnimont who adopts her.

In the series are several scenes that relate to spanking:

SCENE A

Punky and Allen cheat on a test. Their teacher knows it but pretends not to so as punishment he gives them extra work. Tired of all the studying, they briefly discuss confessing. Then they talk about possible punishment.



SCENE B

Punky has run away, and Cherie knows something. Cherie is afraid her and Punky will get a spanking. I can't believe how much times have changed since 1984. No way a TV show now would have kids worrying about getting a spanking.

From the Snow Canyon High School Drama Departments stage performance of the  two-act comedy written by American actor/playwright Larry Shue.


Set in Terre Haute, Indiana in late 1979, The Nerd presents the story of Willum Cubbert, an unassuming young architect, friends Tansy and Axel and unexpected houseguest Rick, who had saved Willum's life in Vietnam. Over the years, Willum and Rick had exchanged occasional letters and greeting cards, though they never met. Willum has promised Rick that he could come to him for help at any time. While Willum is hosting a dinner party for his boss, Rick shows up. His awkward manner and inappropriate behavior throw the occasion into shambles. Rick decides to move in. Eventually at his wit's end, Willum decides to take a chance on Axel's plan to get rid of Rick.

In this play there is the role of 11 year old boy Thor Waldgrave, one of the naughiest brats to ever grace the stage. Due to casting opportunities this role is often cast with a girl, and so often Thor becomes "Thora". And: Larry Shue's script requires a spanking for Thor/Thora. Here the original excerpt:

THOR. EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! (He throws himself

into the closet, slamming the door. )


RICK. (Lowering his voice, excitedly.) Oh, okay. (Crouching and

Amidst her job search, she receives dating advice from her friend and neighbor, Lucy Gessler, and begins an unexpected affair with an ex-business partner of her husbandʼs, Wally Burgan. When Mildred receives a call from the agency regarding an opening as a housekeeper to a wealthy socialite, she reluctantly agrees to meet with her. After cutting the acerbic interview short, Mildred seeks refuge at a local diner, Cristofors Café, where fate, and a waitress named Ida, will play a role in shaping her future.

Mildred brings a sample of her pies into the diner and they're a big hit with the customers. Soon she gets an order for 35 pies a week and the orders start to pile up from other restaurants as well. Veda discovers her waitress uniforms and Mildred is forced to admit what she does for a living. The selfish Veda thinks it's all so degrading.

These are the circumstances in which this spanking scene takes place, a scene described in the book as follows:

"For heaven's sake,. Mother, haven't I told you once? How often do I have to tell you? I won't have you questioning methis way. Good night--I'm going to bed."



Mildred caught her arm, pulled her back. "You knew, when you gave it to Letty, that that was my uniform, didn't you?" -

Veda's simulation of surprise was so cool, so calculated, so insolent, that Mildred waited longer than she usually did, when angered. Then she went on: "I've taken a job as a waitress in a restaurant in Hollywood."

Mildred clipped her on the cheek, but she gave a short laugh, and brazenly finished: --"gods and little fishes!"


At this, Mildred clipped her a terrific wallop on the other cheek, that toppled her to the floor. As she lay there, Mildred began to talk. "So you and your sister can eat, and have a place to sleep, and a few clothes on your backs. I've taken the only kind of a job I could get, and if you think I'm going to listen to a lot of silly nonsense from you about it, you're mistaken. And if you think your nonsense is going to make me give up the job, you're mistaken about that, too. How you found out what I was doing I don't know--"



"From the uniform, stupid. You think I'm dumb?"


Mildred clipped her again, and went on: "You may not realize it, but everything you have costs money, from the maid that you ordered to go traipsing with you to the pooi, to your food, and everything else that you have. And as I don't see anybody else doing anything about it--"


Veda had got up now, her eyes, hard, and cut in: "Aren't the pies bad enough? Did you have to degrade us by--"


Mildred caught her by both arms, threw her over one knee, whipped the kimono up with one motion, the pants down with another, and brought her bare hand down on Veda's bottom with all the force her fury could give her. Veda screamed and bit her leg. Mildred pulled loose, then beat the rapidly reddening bottom until she was exhausted, and Veda screamed as though demons were inside of her. Then Mildred let Veda slide to the floor, and sat there panting and fighting the nausea that was swelling in her stomach.


Presently Veda got up, staggered to the sofa, and flung herself down in tragic despair. Then she gave a soft laugh, and whispered, in sorrow rather than anger: "A waitress."

From an Italian movie based on the Novel "Dr. Gräsler, Badearzt" by Arthur Schnitzler.

In the scene a bratty girl throws a ball and hits a man, causing him to spill his tea. Her mother tells her to stop playing with the ball, but she doesn't and throws it again at him. Her mother finally gets fed up and begins to chase her around the house with a carpet beater, until the man finally stands up and scolds the girl, causing her once and for all to stop while also proving he is "father material." Ironically, the little girl's name in the film is Fanny) The mother is played by Miranda Richardson, the man is Keith Carradine (the bachelor).

From the Romanian Movie of 1964.

Amintiri din copilărie is one of the main literary contributions of Romanian author Ion Creangă. The largest of his two works in the memoir genre, it includes some of the most recognizable samples of first-person narratives in Romanian literature, and is considered by critics to be Creangă's masterpiece.


One of the first episodes detailed by the book relates to corporal punishment as recommended by the priest: children were made to sit on a chair known as Calul Balan ("White Horse") and strapped with a device called Sfântul Nicolai (or "Saint Nicholas", after the school's patron saint). The fragment is also a humorous retrospective account of his interactions with other children, from their favorite pastimes (trapping flies with the horologion) to Creangă's crush on Smărăndiţa and the misuse of corporal punishment by a jealous peer tutor.
