Famous camp stuff from 1980ies, based on a real life account of Christine Crawford in which she decribes here life being the daughter of Hollywood Icon Joan Crawford (played by Faye Dunaway, with absolute overacting). The Film features two spanking related scenes.
This is the famous "no more wire hangers!" scene.

When Joan Crwaford visits her daughters room, while Christina is sleeping, she discovers that her clothes are hung up on wire hangers.Reminded of her own childhood in poverty she goes extremely nuts, wakes up her daughter and beats her with one of the wire hangers.
