That famous hungarian movie, described as "cinderella without the good side" and based on a famous hungarian novel, is indeed a touchig study of an unloved orphans live.In that scene, that girl (her name is Csöre, which seems to mean "a bill"), played by Zsuzsa Czinkóczi , is spanked heavily for forgetting the time while playing on the farmland by her adoptive mother.
