This film from The Philippines, whose title
translates to “The Naughty Children”, was produced in 1980. It is a free,
probably unlicensed adaptation of the legendary musical classic “The Sound of
Music” from 1965 (which is also featured on this blog). It features several at
the time famous child stars, namely: Ira Maya Sopha, Dina Mariana,
Ria Irawan, Ryan Hidayat and Kiki Sandra.
In
the scene in question the kids play one prank to many at the table dinner, and
therefore get caned in front of the new nanny by the pinoy version of Captain
von Trapp.
The
clip was first discovered by Wnohs Tam.
