Dorsvloer vol Confetti tells the story of young Katelijne, who grows up in a religious family in the countryside in Zeeland. Based on the debut novel by Franca Treur, published in 2009

The critically acclaimed book is a psychological novel about a faithful peasant family in Zeeland. Protagonist Katelijne grows up between six brothers and struggles with her position in the men's world in which she grows up. The book is fictional but with autobiographical elements.

 

In this scene Katelijne is punished by her father, with her brother watching, for secretly attending a  fair and having “unholy” fun. At the end of the clip it can be clearly scene that she is pulling up her panties, which signals to the viewer, without actually showing it, that the spanking s on the bare bottom.
