THE WALTONS: THE HOMECOMING – A CHRISTMAS STORY (1971) M/f, one – smacker, s, w
From the pilot movie of the long living series, based on a novel by Earl Hamner jr.
The Walton family is about to celebrate another Christmas. It's during the '30s and the depression. John Walton promised to be home soon but seems to be late. John-Boy tells his sibs about Christmas and all that stuff. When John hasn't showed for hours, Ma sends John-Boy out to find him. Will John ever get home to celebrate Christmas with his family?
In the scene in question, when siblings do sit in a circle and talk about christmas, John Boy gives his thirteen year old sister a smack for acting like a saucy brat (and that right bevor christmas)
This clip was discovered and posted on the SF&R chat forum shortly bevor this blog started by a contributor named Julie. All credits go to her.
Smacker: Richard Thomas
Smackee: Judy Norton-Taylor
Director : Fielder Cook
