Si Pan Din is based upon the famous moving drama work by M R Kukrit Pramoj, one of the most
famous Thai writers (one of great Thai writer in my mind).
The tale in lakorn " Si Pan Din" traces the life of Phloi,who started life as a lady in waiting at the inner court of the Grand Palace. In her lifetime, Phloi saw economic and social changes, coups, political turmoil, abdication and tragedy, covering the reigns of four Chakri Kings in the Bangkok era.
In this scene a fight between two
girls takes place, that is interrupted by the adults. Only one of the girls
gets caned on her bottom while the other one is watching.
