SPENCERS MOUNTAIN (1963) M/f threat

From the 1960ies family drama which today is seen as the inspiration and direct bluprint for "The Waltons".

Clay Spencer is a hard-working man who loves his wife and large family. He is respected by his neighbors and always ready to give them a helping hand.  If he has one dream in life it's to build his wife Olivia a beautiful house on a piece of land he inherited on Spencer's mountain.

In this scene a very young Kym Karath ("The Sound Of Music") is threatend - by the use of a very fitting metaphor - with a sound spanking of her behind by the character that became the model for John Boy Walton.

Note: The Film (including this scene) was directed by Delmer Daves who directed , produced and wrote "The Battle Of The Villa Fiorita" 2 years later and who was responsible for the spanking scene from Rumer Goddens novel being directly transferred into the picture in such a colourful way.
