" Schemes of a Beauty", also known as "Palace Beauty calculating", premiered in 2010, is a Chinese mainland court costume drama, adapted from a novel . This is  a clip with a song from the series, interpreted by child actress Jiang Yiyi. Within the clip there is a short sequence which shows a palace paddling of Jiang Yiyi, which is the first time I came across such a punishment inflicted upon a child. Unfortunately I could not yet find the episode where this takes place.

    It's found in the final third of Episode 25. The version I watched splits the episodes into thirds; it's about 7 minutes in.
